MARK AND JOANNA BIRCH VICTORIOUS IN VINCE CLIFFORD TROPHY

Published: 25/09/2018

Congratulations to club Chairman Mark Birch and his wife Joanna on winning the HRUFC Vince Clifford Trophy mixed pairs bowling knock out event. They defeated President Dereck Tasker and his partner Irene Ward and John and Gill Morris in a round robin semi-final on Monday 24th September. The format was adopted following the withdrawal from the semi of Dave Talboys and his wife Ann due to Dave taking ill. Friends will be happy to hear that Dave is now on the mend.

The final scores were Mark and Joanna 42, John and Gill 33 and Dereck and Irene 31.
