Last season’s players player of the year will be taking over the Falcons Captaincy for the forthcoming season. A true clubman and leader on and off the pitch Elliott is the natural successor to Darren ‘Irish’ Neilly who has done a sterling job over the last few seasons.

Another of last season’s award winners  -  John Sedgwick will be Vice Captain. A former academy Captain, John is another player who leads by example on the pitch.

Gavin Rhodes will again manage the team and was pleased to announce the new leaders.

“Irish has done a fabulous job as Captain over the last few seasons but felt the time was right to start handing over the reins to the more youthful in the team. Elliott won Players Player highlighting the respect he has within the team and will do a fabulous job I’m sure. John has come on tremendously over the last couple of seasons and is another well respected player who gives his all. After a successful season last year we’re all really pleased to have strong leadership in place again and I look forward to seeing this develop over pre-season”
