| Huddersfield RUFC is already celebrating its centenary year next season by being promoted to Division Three North...with congratulations already flowing in from our new competitors such as Halifax, Preston Grasshoppers and Bradford & Bingley.
This is a triumph for our Director of Rugby Mark Sowerby and crowns the year for our President Alan Ibberson and Chairman Mick Brown.
Last Saturday's crucial victory game over the Midlands side Luctorians gave us a huge attandance...gate money of £1,000, shared with our visitors, and a bar income of over £5,000. Said a member on a train passing over the viaduct: "I have never ever seen such an amazing site of so many people watching a game at Lockwood Park."
Our last major event of the season is the Annual Presentation Dinner which will be held at the Cedar Court Hotel on Friday,
